The vision
Light intake plays a crucial role in your overall health, yet most
people overlook its impact or struggle to take meaningful action.
Lume Health set out to change this.
The challenge
Lume needed an MVP that not only translated complex scientific data
about light exposure into actionable insights but also captivated early
adopters and investors with its potential to transform personal
health management.
The solution
We aimed to craft a user experience that would captivate early
adopters, inspire lasting behavioural change, and confirm Lume’s
product-market fit. Our mission was to empower users with a clear
understanding of how light exposure impacts their sleep, energy, and
hormonal balance – not just explaining why it matters, but
demonstrating how it could transform their lives.
Structuring the MVP for beta success
We designed an end-to-end user experience that would help
Lume gather early feedback from beta users, ensuring the
product was ready for real-world adoption.
Making science an engaging experience
We transformed light intake and hormone-tracking data into clear,
digestible insights, making it easier for users to track progress and
take action.
Driving engagement
with behavioural design
We created habit-building mechanisms that guide users
to gradually improve their circadian rhythms using
motivational nudges and personalised feedback.
From light intake tracking to daily wellness summaries, we focused on making health insights easy to understand while keeping the UI clean and engaging.
