These terms cover your use of www.parallelhq.com (the “website”), run by Parallel (“we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Questions: hello@parallelhq.com.

The short version

  • Read, share and link to our work freely; don’t copy it as your own or use it to train AI models.

  • Don’t misuse the website, its forms or its chat.

  • Ask Parallel is an AI assistant: it can be wrong, it isn’t advice, and you shouldn’t paste sensitive information into it.

  • The website is provided as it is. If we work together, a separate written agreement covers that work, not these terms.

1. Using the website

You may use the website to learn about Parallel, read our case studies, blog and research, and get in touch. You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian. Nothing on the website is an offer to provide services; any project with us is covered by a separate written agreement.

2. Our content

The text, designs, images, videos, case studies, blog posts, research and the Parallel name and logo on this website belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us (including our clients, whose names, logos and products appear with their permission). They are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view, print and share our pages for personal or internal business use, and quote short extracts with a credit and a link. You may not, without our written permission:

  • copy or republish our content as your own, or sell it

  • use our client work, names or logos in a way that suggests a connection with them or with us

  • scrape the website in bulk, or use its content to train or fine-tune AI models (reading it with search engines and AI assistants to answer questions and link back to us is fine)

3. Acceptable use

When using the website, its forms, the booking calendar or the chat, please don’t:

  • break the law or anyone else’s rights

  • send spam, false information, or someone else’s personal data without their permission

  • try to get into parts of the website that aren’t public, test its security without our permission, or interfere with how it works

  • get around our rate limits, use bots to send forms or chat messages, or overload the website

  • upload malware, or anything abusive, hateful or illegal

We may block access or ignore submissions that break these rules.

4. Ask Parallel (AI chat)

Ask Parallel is an AI assistant that answers questions about Parallel using content from this website. It is powered by an AI model from Anthropic. Please keep in mind:

  • It can be wrong. Answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect. Check anything important with us before relying on it.

  • It isn’t advice or an offer. Nothing it says is professional, legal or financial advice, a quote, or a commitment from Parallel. Prices, timelines and terms are only agreed in writing with our team.

  • Don’t share sensitive information. Don’t paste passwords, confidential business information, health or financial details, or anyone else’s personal data. Your messages are sent to our AI provider and logged as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Limits apply. The chat has limits on message length and how many messages you can send; we may change or switch it off at any time.

5. Other websites and embedded content

The website links to other websites and shows content from other services, such as videos from Vimeo and YouTube, posts from X, Cal.com for booking calls and Recruitee for job applications. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for their content or how they work.

6. No warranty

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that its content (including case study results, blog posts and research) is complete or up to date.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of the website or the chat. Our total liability to you for anything related to the website is limited to INR 10,000 (or the equivalent in your currency).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, except that if you are a consumer you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version on this page when you use the website applies.
